William Slater, Director of Operations

William Slater is founder, serves as Director of Government and Community Relations, and has over a decade of experience in the arts. William first attended Flatstock 8, fulfilled various Flatstock/API volunteering roles thereafter, authored the Rock Paper Show introduction to Flatstock 10, and was chief organizer of Gigposters.com fundraisers that raised over $24,000 to assist the art-based website. William is also a federal air traffic controller and previous U.S. Navy air traffic controller based in San Francisco, Pensacola, Panama and Japan. When not separating aircraft, increasing art in public places or scouring the web for collectible silkscreen prints, William enjoys living in beautiful Colorado.

William Webster, Director of Design

William Webster is co-founder and serves as Director of Design. William is a 1991 graduate from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in graphic design. His experience includes co-founder and co-Creative Director of 1000 RoBoTs Design, Creative Director for Invision Marketing, and Senior Creative Director for Bell Sports. When not building or designing something, William collects Mexican folk art and is an obsessive music and filmophile.

Laurie Macomber, Director of Engagement

Laurie Macomber serves as board member and Director of Beautification. Laurie has over 30 years of marketing experience and owns content marketing firm Blue Skies Marketing. Her previous experience includes Marketing Communications Director for International Paper, Worldwide Marketing Communications Manager for Ilford Photo, and Advertising Manager for Leica Camera AG. Laurie co-founded Ignite Fort Collins and sits on the boards of the Center for Fine Art Photography and the Northern Colorado & Wyoming Better Business Bureau.

Ron Zasadzinski, Director of Technology

Ron Zasadzinski serves as board member and Director of Technology. Ron is founder of CodeGeek.net, and specializes in web application development in PHP and Ruby on Rails, mobile web strategy, Responsive Web Design, and custom websites in numerous content management systems including WordPress, Expression Engine, ModX, and others. Prior to his current career, Ron worked as an experimental physicist, performing atomic and nuclear physics research for Department of Energy at Lawrence Livermore National Lab. Ron is an accomplished flight instructor with over 8,000 hours of flight time. He has served in numerous leadership roles for the Beechcraft Pilot Proficiency Program, including President, board member, Director of Pilot Training, and continues to train pilots nationwide.

Rob Phillips, In-House Counsel

Rob Phillips serves as board member and In-House Counsel. Rob has over a decade of experience in corporate, transactional and regulatory law. He has worked with individual proprietorships to Fortune 100 companies, both nationally and across the globe. His background includes corporate governance, business formation, planning and development, and dispute resolution. Rob has counseled clients to ensure compliance with a wide range of federal and state regulations, as well as negotiating commercial agreements in the fields of healthcare, life sciences, information technology and energy. Rob also specializes in licensing and the protection of intellectual property.

McCabe Callahan, Board Member

McCabe Callahan serves as board member. McCabe is a 2002 graduate of Colorado State University and co-founder & CEO of Community Funded. Community Funded is a social impact crowdfunding organization that provides one-of-a-kind white label platforms to some of the nation’s largest corporations and universities, as well as unique solutions for individual crowdfunding campaigns. McCabe began Community Funded in 2011 out of his passion to create a platform for communities that wish to support the things they care about most.
